My name is Andrew, and I love to create.

For as long as I can remember I've always had a passion for tapping into the creativity deep within my mind. As a kid I loved building physical worlds with Lego and K'nex. In elementary school I created a series of stories telling the adventures of an anthropomorphic cucumber, aptly named Arnie Cucumber. In high school I designed over 100 original characters and tales of their lives and trials. Throughout my undergraduate years at SUNY Buffalo, I turned those characters and their stories into a series of comic scripts and illustrations. And now, I've gone digital.

Unsatisfied with where I was heading with my Communication degree from Buffalo (with a focus on Marketing/Advertising Design), I turned to one of my favorite pastimes for inspiration: games. I could go on and on listing my favorite games, because I love them all. I decided that what I needed to do was take my passion for creating rich worlds, stories, and experiences and let it loose upon the world of game design and development.

I am a graduate of Parsons The New School for Design studying Game Design (within the Design & Technology program). I've gathered a hefty bag of skills that includes proficiency in Unity Engine, object-oriented programming, C Sharp, Java, JavaScript, iOS/Swift, and Processing, with additional experience working in Unreal Engine and Python.

Things I like (besides video games):

  • Popcorn
  • Music (Anthing. Literally, anything. But play me some country and I'll be your best friend)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Buttered popcorn
  • Stephen King books
  • The color green
  • My dog, Lucy (my bird Gus is kinda fly too)
  • Movie theater buttered popcorn

Aside from game design, I dabble in graphic design and illustration. I have also worked in the past as Marketing Manager/Web Master for a successful party planning/digital printing company located on Long Island, NY.

With the knowledge I've obtained, I aim to strengthen my skills by gaining more industry experience, while bringing a full level of commitment and my unique creative vision to any and all projects I am lucky enough to work on.
